WELCOME
TO CASE RANCH INN, circa 1894,
nestled within the Russian River Valley, in
the heart of the Sonoma Wine Country - on
the quiet side of Healdsburg. Once
a 50-acre ranch, Case Ranch Inn now sits on
two acres down a quiet country road with many
remaining vintage fruit trees . It is now
a registered Sonoma County Historical Landmark.
We
purchased the Case house in 1992 with the
dream of converting it to a bed and breakfast
inn. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience
... and a tremendous labor of love!
Case Ranch Inn - a place where
time stands still and serenity is found! We
look forward to making your stay restful,
romantic and memorable.

STEP
BACK IN TIME ... A PIECE OF CASE RANCH
INN HISTORY
| Built
around 1894 by Joseph Walker, the
Case Ranch was purchased by James
L. Case in 1910 when it consisted
of a Victorian farmhouse on 50 acres
in the rolling hills of the Russian
River Valley --- in beautiful Sonoma
County where apples were the reigning
crop. Mr. Case, the Methodist Church
minister, was an active voice in
the farm labor movement, and the
Case Ranch was the center of much
protest activity during the Great
Depression. |

Years
later, the Russian River Valley
now boasts the finest of wines
rather than apples, and the Case
Ranch now sits on two acres on
a quiet, country road with many
remaining fruit trees. It is now
a registered Sonoma County Historical
Landmark.
We
purchased the Case house in 1992
with the dream of converting it
to a bed and breakfast inn. This
was a once-in-a-lifetime experience
... and a tremendous labor of
love!
During
the remodel, a friend of ours
kindly lent us a 34-foot motor
home to park on the property -
living quarters during the remodel.
Twenty-one weeks later (too many
weeks in a motor home!), in October
of 1999, we moved back in with
still much work to be done. In
all, it took two years to create
the exquisite bed and breakfast
that is now enjoyed by guests
from all points around the globe.
